Baptism Registers for the period 1864 to 1948 are located at the Cornwall Record Office (Reference: X 329)
In Cornwall
Cornwall Record Office - This is where most of the orginal Registers are held. Most are made available to the Public on microfilm. Microfiche copies of the Bishop's Transcripts are also available.
Cornish Studies Library - Microfilm copies of most Bishop's Transcripts and Parish Registers are available, along with extensive collections of local newspapers and Census Returns.
Devon Record Office - Where the orginals of the Bishop's Transcripts are held for most Cornwall Parishes. These are available on microfilm for viewing.
The Courtney Library - Transcipts of Parish Records are available for viewing on microfilm and covers about 50% of Cornwall's Parishes.
Cornwall Family History Society - Has many different records available in Truro at there library. Transcripts of many Parish Registers. Marriage records up to 1837 from different sources and burial/memorial Inscription records etc:Overseas
For Overseas Researchers copies of Parish Registers on Microfiche can be purchased from the Cornwall Record Office. Follow this link for instructions on how to do this. Otherwise to my knowledge very little available overseas for viewing outside of the LDS Family History Centres. This situation is gradually changing as various commercial and voluntary organisations as well as individuals are working towards making Cornish Parish Records more freely available. Visit the OPC home Page to see what is presently available online.
Available for Purchase
Archive CD Books - Phillimore's Marriage Transcripts which covers almost all Cornwall Parishes as well as the Parish Registers for Falmouth, Madron, and Gulval.
Cornish Forefathers Society - A very good source for transcripts of Parish Records, mainly available on CD, although there are still some microfiche supplies left.
Cornwall Family History Society - Has by far the largest collection of transcripts available for purchase and they would still be cheap at twice the price they charge. They also offer a search service on individual surnames which I have used and can highly recommend.
